Spring is here in Tennesee! Warmer temperatures will be arriving soon, and that means one thing, so are the insects. It’s best to get a leg up on the problem and start early.
They sting. They’re black and yellow. We’re talking, of course, about wasps – one of Nature’s most aggressive insects. They’ll defend their nest at any cost and stop at nothing to protect it. Even though wasps can be jerks to us humans, you have to admit they’re fascinating.
They’re small, but they’re mighty. They have the ability to ruin our health and the structural integrity of our homes. What is this enemy, you ask? Fungus. Your first thought is probably mushrooms, which are indeed members of the fungus family, but for our purposes, we’re talking about molds.
Tennessee is home to many types of wood-destroying insects, but none are as destructive or hard to get rid of as termites. Termites live almost anywhere in the US but when they get into our homes they can wreak havoc and wind up costing us lots of money in repairs.
